For family night two weeks ago, we went on a leaf hunt to make leaf collages. The kids had a ball and gathered TONS of leaves. As we were driving up the canyon, we came to a clearing and there were several cars pulled off to the side of the road. This is what they were looking at. There were lots and lots of deer in this pasture. That was fun for us... This night was a family night success!

That looks like a fun outing. We need to do more stuff like that in our family. We live such "busy" lives that it feels like there is no time for quality. I suppose it reminds me that I need to find ways to set aside the unnecessary business in search of the best we can do.
That's what we need to do - hopefully this weekend if it warms up a bit like it's supposed to. I love the red leaves Katie is holding. Those are so pretty! I'm glad your kids got to go out and enjoy finding colorful leaves. :)
