Abigail is officially blessed!

We blessed Abbie this past Sunday. It took a lot of planning and preparation but it was a success. She was blessed with a beautiful blessing and it was one that gave me comfort because of some things that I have been concerned with. So that was great! We had lots and lots of people at our house to celebrate. It was fun. On a more vain note, we had two pictures taken and the one I posted we all are looking at the camera so I didn't have many to choose from. Can we say hips the size of Alaska? Sheesh! If I would have known my hips would have taken up almost the whole camera lens, I might have protested the pic! Oh well, that's what working out is for right?

I hate to say it, but thank you for posting that picture. I will remember to wear a black skirt to the blessing of our baby and set aside wearing anything floral on the bottom for a good long while after the baby comes. That said, you aren't the size of Alaska so be relieved. Women who just pushed a watermelon through a garden hose get a free pass in the hip category.

Are those your hips? I thought you were standing behind one of those chairs in the lobby!

I'm kidding.
I'm JUST KIDDING!!
IT WAS A JOKE!!! :)

I actually think it's a cute picture. Also, the gathering at your house was fun. I think you planned it well and everyone was fed and had a good time. Thank you.

So I didn't notice your hips until you pointed them out and then I COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING ELSE. It was like they took over my whole line of sight and I couldn't even finish reading what you wrote because your hips are just SO HUGE. Whatever. You look great for having just pushed a 10 pound baby through those things. Actually, you look great even if you hadn't just had a baby. I really don't think your hips are big.
