Jacob is such a good kid! He sticks up for kids at school and for his family. He is thoughtful. He is funny and can take a joke too! He is very good at sports and doing "tricks" on his bike and scooter. He is smart and works hard at school. He loves Abbie to death and will take care of her when he sees I am busy or frustrated. He knows a lot about Jesus and wants to be like him. I love him so much. He's muh boy!
For his birthday this year, he wanted his favorite dessert instead of cake. He chose fresh peach dessert. I didn't mind... MMMMM!!
A few weeks ago, our basement was flooded. We had to pull everything out of Jacob's room and he got to have "sleepovers" with Katie for a few nights. It was too cute to watch him getting her comfortable for the night. He would make sure she had the stuffed animals she wanted, that her pillow was right next to his and that she had stories read to her each night before she fell asleep.
As a side note, I asked Jacob to clean up his room before school. After he left, I went into his room to vacuum. This is what I found. He sleeps with all of these animals, every night. He had wadded up his blankets to make a place for his animals to be displayed and then neatly placed them on the blankets so the could be comfortable while he was at school. Hilarious!

I love the little things kids do. It's so cute! He takes very good care of his animals. They are lucky to have such a nice person. Jacob is a really nice little boy and I'm glad he is part of our family.
