Ashley turned 5 on April 26. We don't have birthday parties every year at our house but when they turn 5, they get one. Ashley has been SO excited for the special day to arrive. Unfortunately, we didn't really take any pictures. These pictures are from her actual birthday when G&G's came over to have cake and celebrate with us. I made Ashley's princess cake and she loved it. Ashley is such a fun person to have in our family. She loves to make people laugh by saying and doing funny things. She is very good at sharing (see below picture) and usually she will share anything that she has with anyone. She has a very tender heart and loves to spend time playing with Jacob, Katie and Abigail. She LOVES to talk. I love Ashley so much and can't imagine family life without her.
Here are the two pictures we took of Ashley's birthday party. You can imagine just how much fun it was by these two I'm sure of it!

Yes, you are right. I CAN imagine all the fun it must have been. I like how kids are so proud to sit there in a cheap plastic crown and they really do feel like the queen for the day. I'm glad she had a wonderful birthday! Ashley is a really nice little girl.
Happy birthday, Ashley! I was sad we couldn't bring Claire over for the party.
Ashley looks just like a princess. Turning five is a huge milestone. Does she suddenly act so much more grown up? Claire did when she turned five a few weeks ago (it has since tapered off somewhat...the newness of being five has worn off a tad).
Well of course I love the pictures. Hee Hee. I'm glad Ashley had a fun birthday. Paige had a blast. Thank you for inviting her. And Happy Birthday Ashley!!
