Lately, Ashley has been afraid of witches and monsters. Almost every morning and sometimes in the middle of the night, when she's scared, she will come and tell me about the scary witch or monster dream she had. So last night, Ashley came into my room around 3:30 a.m. and told me she had a scary witch dream. I asked her what it was about and this is what she told me. "I was laying in my bed and there was a witch under my bed. I put my hand over the side of my bed and the witch touched my hand and said, 'ooh, your hand is toasty!' Then she told me she was hungry and she wanted some toast."
I thought it was pretty funny. I put her in my bed for a bit. Then I took her back in her room, we said a prayer and she went to sleep. Kids sure do make life interesting sometimes!

That's cute. It's good that she's remembering her dreams so well, because then you can atleast talk about them. My kids just go, "I had a scary dream!!" And then I ask, "What was it about?" And then they just stare at me...totally blank. So we just tell Hannah to think of princesses and ponies before she falls asleep and then she'll dream about them. I don't know if it works....because yeah....the blank stare...
I remember having scary dreams and it taking me forever to even have the courage to run into my paretns room.
Kids do make life interesting. Kimball keeps getting more and more of a personality every day and it is so much fun.
I think it is awesome that you prayed with her before you put her back in bed. It teaches her that she can always rely on the Lord. You are such a good mom.
