Apparently, Jacob has an admirer in his class. He is friends with a girl named Shaylee. He informed me the other day that she told him that she is his girlfriend. I asked him if he even knew what a girlfriend is and he told me it was someone who you love. I asked him if he loved her. He said yes. I told him he was too young to have a girlfriend. So he wrote this note to Shaylee along with a lovely picture on the orange paper. He never did give it to her but I think it's probably better that way! If you can't read his impeccable spelling, it says, "Why are you my girlfriend?"
