Just thought I would give a quick update on news in our family.
..Katie is turning two in June. We are very excited for her and hope that she is potty trained by then, at least mom hopes. She talks a lot! My favorite moment of her of the past week is that she got very upset at having to watch Little Mermaid. She threw herself on the floor and exclaimed, "I hate it!" Since when does a 1 1/2 year old know how to say that? Or even what it means.
..Ashley is proud that she is four. She reminds me quite often. She has really been enjoying being able to ride a bike. She loves primary and loves her teachers. She is looking forward to attending preschool in the fall. It will be the same one that Jacob went to which makes it even more cool in her mind!
..Jacob is finishing up his Kindergarten year. He got to go on his first bus ride for a field trip today and was VERY excited. He is excited for summer when he gets to do Slip 'n Slide. He tries almost every day to convince me to let him do Slip 'n Slide and for the last time Jacob, it's not warm enough yet!
..For those of you whom we haven't told, we are having another girl. I am 25 weeks along now. We are excited for this new little spirit to come into our home. We haven't picked out any names yet and actually, probably won't do so until we are in the hospital....like usual.
..I am staying very busy with various projects. I am working on starting a Humanitarian group in our ward to do service around the community and for the church. Hopefully there is a good response. I am also the Second Counselor in Primary and I am loving having that calling. I love being able to bear my testimony often to the children in our Primary. It has really helped me to grow a lot so far. I am looking forward to planting flowers in a couple of weeks and also having a garden. I am also looking forward to summer when the days are a little more laid back with some breathing room in between. Jacob and Ashley are signed up for swim lessons, which they love. I will also be signing Ashley up for dance and Jacob for Soccer. Another thing I am looking forward to is the Survivor finale. For those of you who watch, I can't believe this season! It's been full of twists and turns and I was not surprised to see Erik give up his immunity this past week. I am rooting for Amanda. And I can't wait to see what Ozzy has to say about what happened to him. It should be fun.
..Matt is now the second Counselor in our Bishopric. He has the joy of learning new responsibilities and I have the joy of sitting alone in church. It's been okay so far with minimal outbursts but we have SEVERAL more sitting alone Sundays before us. We'll see how it goes. Matt has healed well from his gall bladder surgery he had in March. We are hoping that it will correct some of the problems he's been having. He just got done pouring some cement for a small patio in our backyard and is now looking forward to finishing our basement this summer. He is a do-it-yourself kind of person so we will be doing a lot of the work ourselves. We have lots to learn but it will be a good experience.
That is us in a nutshell. We are hoping for a very nice and enjoyable summer. Hopefully now you're caught up on us and if you're quizzed later, you will answer correctly!

Thanks for the fun updates. I'm glad things are going well with you guys. All I have to say is.... PARVATI!?!?!
Thanks for the update. It was fun to read. You kids are growing up so fast and you are doing such a good jb with them.
Congrats on having another girl. My little sister Sheri is going to have a boy. She and her husband are excited. She was kind of hoping for a little girl though.
That is awesome that your husband is a do it yourself guy. good luck on the Basement. Joe is finishing his basement on his own too...minus the plumbing.
Good luck in Prmary. I know that you will do a good job at that. You are really good with kids.
